Roanoke Star Skills Training - Tuesday, August 17, 2010

Roanoke Star Skills Training sessions will begin Tuesday August 24th. The skills training sessions will be on Tuesdays 5:30 - 6:30PM at Vinyard II Field 3 and Thursdays 7:00 - 8:00PM at Vinyard II Field 3. The skills training sessions will be open to U11 - U14 boys and girls.

Roanoke Star & Kroger Fundraiser and Prizes - Thursday, August 12, 2010

The Roanoke Star Soccer Club and Kroger will be offering families and teams a chance to win prizes for using the Kroger Card. This is a win-win opportunity for the club and its members. The top 3 families who use the Kroger Card the most between 8/16/10 - 11/15/10 will each receive an $100 Kroger Gift Card. The top Roanoke Star team who uses the Kroger Card the most between 8/16/10 - 11/15/10 will receive a pizza party. **This does not include families/teams that will be going to Europe the summer of 2011. Roanoke Star currently has roster spots open for boys and girls teams. The age groups that have openings are U11 Boys, U12 Boys & Girls, U13 Boys & Girls and U15 Boys & Girls. Botetourt Star works closely with the Botetourt County Parks & Recreation to provide the residents of Botetourt County a positive changing environment which allows players to develop and enjoy the game. Roanoke Star has just released the information on the Fall 2010 Junior Academy program. In it's first season the Futsal program was a huge success. The program has aided in the player's technical development and given them more confidence with the ball at their feet (Not Just Kicking the Ball).
