"Kimoyo" means "the language of the heart" in Swahili. We chose this name for our organi-zation because it represents our mission of reaching out to communities, both here in the Roanoke Valley and in Africa. It is the mission of Kimoyo LTD.:

- To create an appreciation within the Roanoke Valley for the importance of cultural diversity through education programs

- To establish and maintain international partnerships for self-empowerment that ad-dress health and economic issues
